THE EXHIBITION

You Will Always Have London is a deeply personal exhibition by photographer Imtiaz Ahmad, rooted in the city that shaped both the artist and the man he would become.

Imtiaz arrived in London as a young man still discovering who he was. There, among its streets, its light, and the rhythms of urban life, he began developing the way of seeing that continues to define his photography today—finding color in darkness, stillness in chaos, and humanity in places others might overlook.

The exhibition takes its name from words spoken by a dear friend who believed in Imtiaz long before he believed in himself: “No matter what happens in life, you will always have London.”

Those words became both a promise and a touchstone. Through You Will Always Have London, Imtiaz reflects on the city that helped him find himself, the friend whose belief stayed with him, and the experiences that continue to shape the way he sees the world.
